Almost all of the trials on Ivermectin showed positive results better than Remdesivir. I'm don't think Merck even did any testing on Ivermectin. Why would they, it is off patent and they were working on a very similar treatment that they will patent if it meets approval. What drugs are approved for treatment is all about the money.
