Pittsburg, Kansas | Seems like I heard ivermectin has been prescribed off label for a couple of conditions for many years. Seems like was scabies and roseatia, but not sure those were the two. Lots of drugs are prescribed off label because it costs so much for the procedure to get a drug approved, old off patent drugs it does not make financial sense for the manufacturers to do go to the trouble of adding the condition to the label.
A significant portion of prescriptions are made off label.
