SW Ohio | I suck at cleaning windows but here is how I do it, squirt bottle of dish soap and water, wet it down good getting all the crud moist, use a squeegee with a pot scrubber on one side and use some elbow grease to cover all areas, spray again to rewet it and use the rubber side to wipe it off, wiping the rubber off after every stroke with a paper towel, start at the top going horizontal and work your way down, overlapping a little each pass. If real bad or too many streaks left behind, rinse and repeat. If you start the season with a good clean window and use the duster every night, sometimes even more during the day, it will stay relatively clean for a few weeks. Your mileage may vary and your idea of clean may not be the same as mine (nor your dirt load). I do not like any of the treatments like rainx or whatever. | |
