Guys I work for have both a 765C and 765D. If your looking for reliability, you would want the C. Pre emission, Cat motor. It just works very well. The downside being it is louder in the cab. The D has the Izusu engine, wich seems alot more complicated than the Cat. We have also had emissions related problems. The pesky Husco valve issues seem more prevalent in the D as well.
