SE Wisconsin | thank you very much. I do not know of anyone around here grinding hay. I asked a neighboring dairy who has a haybuster, but he was not interested. I imagine I could call the same guys who run big tub grinders for woodchips. Same machine, different screens.
I like the idea of feeding commodities. Just need enough cattle to keep the pile going down.... I will get there some day.
I also like the idea of running a wire over the feed in the stalks. That makes a lot of sense.
