Sioux County, NWIA | Yes, most likely you will need to adjust the brake release. Note that this is not the brake tension. If the brake is set to release too late in the insert phase, the bale/roller will grab the net, give it a pull, and because the brake is not released yet the net roll will not start turning but rather the bale and roll will lose the grip on the net and the net will snap back up into the duckbill. Then it will not start wrapping until you manually rethread the duckbill. This problem does seem to manifest itself differently depending on the brand of wrap being used. If you are watching the net roll when this happens you will often see the net roll move a little bit, often a few little jerks, at the start of wrap but then stop.
