I dought it would work in corn that was picked with a corn head either. Our corn was cut with a row head so we dont have near the standing, long residue. I pulled it in some sunflower stalks today and it worked very well. I did not make it, I just said it was home made. LOL. We use to plow here every year and they plowed between 6 and 10 inches. My grandad always thought 8 plus inches would get below most of the plow pan. I will keep track and leave some strips to see if I can tell any advantage. It takes alot of fuel so probably I will just try it on some plots this year.
