Pretty much my thoughts. I've ran both a 1038 and a 942 on large square balers and while the 1038 has power to spare, it also has limited ground clearance and doesn't turn tight enough. The 942 was more than capable as a baler tractor and even with it we spent a lot of time running 1000E.
