Couple thaughts...you must have NO stones, or you would not be running that machine.
Second, it is hard to tell, but are you sure you need to be running that deep. If you do have a compacted layer, it lifts the entire soil profile and it does not look like that is the case in these pics. Do you have a hard pan? If you don't, don't subsoil.
