| I agree, changing the dwell time is not a game changer, but just another tool in the tool box. Getting the brake to be applied later in the cycle with the correct net tension is the key to solving the problem. Increasing the tail length is as the dwell another tool in the tool box. Increasing the tail length helps get more net on the bale before the brake is applied.
It is not that the net is not starting, but the net tearing before the bale gets a good grip on the net. If the net appears shredded the net had started.
