I can most of my tomatoes. However, last fall I did put some in the freezer. My brother freezes all his tomatoes. You can puree tomatoes and freeze them. Use them for tomato soup. Or make a tomato sauce with them in winter. I would not freeze whole tomatoes, or even tomatoes cut up into parts. I don't think that would work. Puree them is the way to go. edit: I should add that I would cook the tomatoes after puree, and before freezing. My canning book says to simmer 5 minutes. I probably do it longer.
