coast of Maine | You do realize that the hole in the ozone they 'found" and blamed on R12, 3 decades ago may have always been there.Then Dow/Dupont one of anyhow contributed to allow their(cheap run out of patent) R12 to be banned as they had R22 patented ,then had the next patent on R134 etc down the line.So they farmed the USA biz to pay 1,000$ more per year than non patented refrigerants.Why many say let it fly.So here we have glyphosate at sub 20 $ USA gallon that the big chemi guys charged 250$ gallon in 1976.So get that replacement patented ,then allow the hubaloo of lawsuit settlements ,cancer rumors,goes cheap gly down the drain ,,wait and see the new one is going to cost $$$. | |
