McCanna, ND | Depends how much AC work you do and what you value your time at. I have a decent DIY setup for well under $1k. I use a good set of gauges, cheapie HF vac pump and a portable robin air recovery unit. The kegs are 30lb so they can hold a fair amount of 134. Works good for me and everything is easily carried around. I don’t value my time much and maybe do 2 full systems per year, otherwise it seems like it’s $4k minimum for a do all machine.
