Yes. Think new holland was the last to have one available but I can’t remember what year the stop production. Maybe you could still get one when the 900 was being built. But not sure We use to have one mounted on a 717 super and I know that head would also work mount to a 718 and a 770 Gehl built one for the 100 series we had one of those also but I do know gehl stop production of direct cut heads before new holland. Fox also offered a direct cut but they are so rare I wouldn’t know where to start to find one New holland also offered one for their self propelled choppers 1890,1895 and 1900. Stop production of those models when they discontinued the 1900,2100 series Direct cut heads worked better on choppers with blowers instead of the cut and throw models simply because the crop most of the time is greener/wetter the blower models handle wet and heavy better and don’t plug the spout as bad
