Central NC | I think every kid should use a cane pole before they get a Zebco 202, a 3 gal bucket so he can set on it, put his fishing gear in it, doesn’t need a Penn reel to start out, heck I’m still using a cane pole and I’m pushing 70
Grandad about cured me of fishing, I was about 8, stayed with grandad about a week, went fishing, early enough barely could see the cork, fished till noon, cleaned the fish and ate lunch, I said what we gonna do now, go back to same place and fish, came back about dark, did this about 3 days straight, I was glad to get back to our tobacco and cotton farm
