Cost me 2.4gal per acre of diesel to put 1" on pulling from 170ft and moving pivot. Plus .017 gallons of engine oil per acre inch and $.18 for oil filter. Only downfall is driving to check engine and change oil once a week and not being able to start it from my phone.
At what point do you run your pivots off a generator?
