Subject: RE: Crop Conditions Tables

Southern MN
Traveled to Stillwater last week, I-90 to just west of Rochester, red wing, north. Crops look really good from the road, although looking at the weather stations along the way looked like most places 2-6” more than us at around 10-12” for the year. Will have a good crop but most areas will still need good moisture to have really good crops. Came back home and got on I-90 East of Rochester, their crops look fantastic they will have a very good crop. Today went north of Montevideo, from Redwood Fall NW crop is really struggling. Our own crop if I had to guess we will be from 20-80 bushels less than last year, depending on what area it is in and how much rain it got. After my trip travels a 4% reduction is fairly accurate. Rating our own I would say a 4-10% reduction from last week, again depending on where it is located. An extra inch of rain is really showing up right now.
