| When I bought my 9400 with the 359, the dealer told me there was a "pips" which is some sort of a product improvement recall on all of these engines. He told me mine had already been "recalled" and fixed in the early 1990's and I shouldn't have to worry about the crankshaft issue as it was fixed for good. Whether he was telling the truth or not may be a different story. Mine is also a 1990 9400.
