Beresford SD | We ran a 1989 9400 up to 3700 hr on the engine when traded. It got a new balancer at about 800 hours, nothing I was aware of at the time, machine was in dealer shop for something else, they replaced it without asking any questions. Later on someone explained why that was significant. From what I understand the 359 engine did well for Deere in many machines, balancer issue and broken cranks gave it a bum rap. | |
