Schochoh Ky | Thanks , it started as our h2a bunkhouse, we got some bad eggs in the program and went away from
It for a few years . Built the shop after it , in 2013 when prices went crazy. Tore the inside out that winter and ground and tinted the floors , and insulated with foam , painted ceiling and trusses black , and plained hog lumber , culls not fit for anything, for inside paneling, it’s cherry , oak , ash , walnut and whatever else was in scrap pile , used old coragated metal for chair rail . Hickory cabinets from Lowe’s and clearance isle lights. Farm office was what we had in mind , and then oldest son wanted to live there . So that’s what happened. He built a house two years ago , so I have my office back . I have a niece and nephew from California, they fly in and turkey hunt and sometimes just visit . Gives them a place to crash . Life is short , wish I had fixed it sooner, it’s nice to have a place out of the shop to talk to salesmen or visitors , without the interruptions of employees. | |
