Need a few parameters.  Are you planning on a 2000 square foot shop, or 20,000 square feet?  Will wall height permit a second floor if needed?  Do you need room for employee housing or a break room?  I have been told it is cheaper to build the shop building larger and put the office inside vs adding it on the outside.
