Matt; Those turbines are south and west of Tiskilwa, IL, or north and east of Bradford. The cranes around Bradford are finishing new construction. The wind in that area blow ALL the time,
They were put up 16 to 18 years ago. Some had issue with the base that allowed the towers to tip a bit out of plumb.
The story is they are being replaced with new much larger capacity turbines.
