| I have a 4000 hour 8360rt giving me problems
1. When I back up sometimes it kicks out of gear and tells me no motion detected.
I can usually move it forward and then put it into reverse. This happens randomly.
Maybe a sensor or wire issue.
2. I cannot operate in the fields between 6 to 8 mph in auto mode. It shifts constantly.
In manual mode at full throttle it works fine. Maybe the hydra module in trans needs replaced.
3. Now for the biggie. Going down the hiway my transmission went out and was able to
coast off the hiway by a foot. Thank god. Unable to force calibration. Come home mode
would not work either. Unable to get it out of park to tow. Deere sent a mechanic next day and he says I have a short between my armrest and the computer on back of tractor keeping tractor in park. He used a coupe of jumper wires from the armrest directly to the computer. Still shows a short and won’t come out of park. So he connects a 12v wire to open the solenoids that disengages the cylinders that enable park and uses a hydraulic porta power to pressure the cylinders up to disengage park. Now we are able to tow the darn thing.
I think the short might be the controller in the armrest.
