Mascoutah, Illinois | I am not the one on here bragging about yields or kernel counts. I was just looking for a little bit of data to back the claims. So far I haven't seen any. Just a bpa number with no variety, no planting date, and a general location. It could have been in a greenhouse for all we know.
If folks are being less than truthful with their landlords, that's their own business but not how my family operates. My family's reputation and name are far more important than not taking care of the person who is letting you farm their property. It's a privilege to farm someone's land, not a right. Everyone leaves behind a legacy. Some just find it more important than others because they have the utmost respect for those who came before them. I get sick and tired of people not giving the whole story, just bits and pieces. It always makes me wonder if they have something to hide!!!
