After the shear pin is broke and I’m still baling. Every now and the plunger gets stuck and slips the clutches.
OK, your slip clutch isn't locked up, but it's way too tight, or the linings are gone & it's metal to metal. It SHOULD slip when the bolt shears. As KTA & Badger said, it should be at least warm. The right way to set the clutch is to feel it after you've run for 30 minutes. it should be warm ,but not hot enough to burn you. The slip clutch is the shock absorber for the whole drive line, it's supposed to slip very slightly every time the plunger hits. You're either pushing it too hard with wet hay or something is wrong with the plungerhead rollers or knives...
How much HP are you pulling it with? A small baler doesn't need 150 horses...
