A little longer is better as they really lose capacity as you raise them beyond a certain point.(tall trucks, stacks and trailers are a pain when they come in to haul out. Those are usually the trucks that are more concerned about their trucks than making money....but I digress...)
Never regret electric until I get the bill.
If your bin unloads have any capacity at all or if you can combine grain from 2 unloads, get 18" or bigger.
Batco,Universal are good. I think several others are good. Just make sure their belting is standard and available from other sources. I have a couple KSI conveyors for seed that use belting only available from them and it is pricey.
