central sask
We had some Drives (i think) O-ring chain on the reverser/stone trap drive on one 2388. It made 3 seasons (500 hours) with occasional oiling . Even US Reynolds only goes 300. China lasts 50 to 200 depending on the quality of the roll it came off. We buy chain in rolls of 50 to 150 feet depending on size. Used to have very good luck with the Japanese made Tsubaki agri-tuff. Now it is Chinese mfg junk as well. Reynolds Red Leaf (offshore line) is garbage as well. If/when the Can $ goes to $1.10 or more we will likely order a few years worth of Drives or Diamond and try to get some O-ring as well.
O-ring on dirt bikes and ATV's is good for nearly 10X as long as Std if you use a good chain lube and keep it out of the sun.
