Cut with steel conditioner, will be wrapping individually and oats are in the milk stage. Forecast provided. Oats are relatively clean other than some volunteer canola. Flip Wed morning and bale in the afternoon? Shooting to be in that 40% range.


I agree with you: rake wed morning after dew is off, eat lunch then bale and wrap. Those are some big windrows. May be 40% on top and 70% on the bottom Tues and if you dont rake. Also depends on winds and humidity. I wrapped wet oats last year and would rather err on lower than 40 rather than higher. But jmho.
