| Problem today was that commodities in general have had their best month since May with the GSCI Index was up almost 10% for the month BEFORE the opening. Since many of the large portfolio managers are under a lot of pressure as we head into year end AND the fact that their commodity portfolio outperformed most of their other holdings this month, it appears that they lightened up their exposure to the commodity sector. Of course, it didn't help that the stock market was getting trounced and Crude Oil was down almost $3.00 on the day! | |
