Subject: RE: McHale balers?

Alma NE
I had one on Demo 4 summers ago for a day it loooked like a good solid built baler. I didn’t like it being 540 pto only and the one we had would split the net wrap everyone you dumped a bale without idling down the rpm. There was a sharp edge on the bale ramp and it would. Cut the wrap in as tight line and explode the bale. .
Dealer kept telling me all day how even though it was only a 4ft wide bale it would have the same amount of hay in as my 568 John Deere baler set at the same size.
When he left I took my baler and baled a bale in the same windrow where he left off my bale was 400lb heavier I text him a pic of the weights. And never heard from him again. I would still like one though. The only problem would be it would be the only 4ft wide baler that I know of for miles and miles around. And doing custom work I think it would be hard to keep jobs where everyone else has a 5 ft wide baler.
