SCMN
Why is everybody so quick to defend these operations. First off, nobody said anything bad about them to begin with, just asked how they were doing. If some of you guys love these big operations so much why don't you rent me your land and go work for them, maybe you can be a manager with a fancy title some day if you play your cards right. And the reason the "smaller" farmers weren't out working in mediocre conditions is because they don't have to be!!! Just because someone who farms so many acres they have to mud it out is going doesn't mean we all should be! If I don't think I'm doing a good job then I stop and do something else, then my field doesn't look like a mud pit and I'm not drying 35% corn. It has nothing to do with ambition. Cripes!
