Texas

Thanks to all for the replies.

There is also a turn knob for the shear bar setting that ramps up something.  How is that used or where do I set it?  Is that how I set the clearance desired before the machine goes through the automatic adjustment?

I'm set up for grass.  Should I remove the pan under the bottom roller?  The machine was last used in corn before I bought it.  Also should the sliding valve adjustment behind the side panel be set in the front hole or the back.  I searched this forum and discovered from another post that this changes the valve from a single to a two-way for the different heads.  It is currently in the front hole.
