I bought a used Claas Jaguar 900 and tried chopping with it today.  It doesn't have a book and one is on order. 

My problem is that the metal detector has it shut down and I don't know where to look or how to clear the detector to get started chopping again.

It was working fine today until this issue showed up.  NO, there isn't a fence post sticking out of the feed rolls!  I can't find wire or anything else but I don't know if something is on a magnet where I haven't looked.  I'm actually pretty stupid without a book.

If any of you guys that have experience on a Claas can help me, I sure do need it.

Another question....  how do you set the knife to shear bar clearance and how do you use the sharpener?
