I don’t know if it counts as a true western, I’d call it more of a mid-western, but I’m a softie for Little House on the Prairie. I think that’s how I won over my woman, now wife, was with the Little House box set, in the fold-up stagecoach box, for her Christmas present not long after we met.
As far as a movie, The Man From Snowy River wins hands down.
