I used a John Blue pump a couple times but wasn't impressed. Impeller and housing wore out quickly. I put an Ace 800 series on last year. It seems to be a much better pump.
I have a Stahly also with a shaft driven pump. The Ace will develop a lot more pressure than you need so be aware of good plumbing downstream or be ready to throttle pressure somehow.
