It's really no different than the gas tax adversely affecting rural folks.........................................................

However, somehow some way the EV drivers need to pay their fair share of road tax................................. And they need to be the ones paying for the added infrastructure and upgrades. Not all of us who choose not to drive EV.

But, remember that we farmers get farm plates for our big trucks, so are we paying our "fair share". No. Part of the commercial license fee is for road services, including the "added infrastructure and upgrades".

But we as farmers pay the vast majority of property taxes. Which is a major source of income for country and local roads. Which is mostly what farmers use.

Why should commercial licenses pay for electric infrastructure upgrades and additional charging infrastructure?

Would be interesting to turn the clock ahead 15 years tonight,
and see how many of the things they want, can really happen

lots of guys that turn dirt would be out of turning dirt, if they had to turn dirt with a new Electric tractor

The point of the power from the wall plug is it has to come from something going down the road on something ,

and we are short on "something" like get out your pen and paper and show it on paper making power in IA on a solar farm

and using it in NYC is just not going to be efficient, but some people see "lefty" and there brain goes to pout
