Subject: Inline Bale Wrapper Question

SE MN
I am looking at the possibility of getting an inline bale wrapper and I was looking into an Anderson. My baler makes a 5.5’ X 5.5’ bale instead of the standard 5’X6’, all the models I see lists maximum bale length of 5’; but the videos I have been watching it appears there maybe some extra room when placing bales (or is this wishful thinking?). I contacted a local dealer and he was not sure if the bales would fit or not? Does anyone know if the extra 6” is a deal breaker? Eventually I would get a newer silage baler but I was hoping to use my current one with a bale wrapper.

The dealer has a used 660 (he did not say if there were letters in the model number just that it is was the model prior to the IFX720) that has about 14,000 bales through it, they are running it through the shop and could get me a price mid next week. If 14,000 bales a lot on one of these? Seems like that would be a ton of hours on the little gas motor, and maybe it has been replaced?

Thanks for any input!
