As long as you have the right ones for the hose, they work pretty well. Most of the old ones I have in inventory seem to be the wrong size for hoses on modern equipment. The outer piece that is supposed to screw onto the hose was either too big or too small. I tried looking them up to order some new ones, but wasn't sure exactly what I needed, so I never did get any more.
