I also have some garden grown lettuce this year.
I lay the washed lettuce leaves on a towel and then gently pat them (by doubling over the same towel or using a second one) to remove most of the moisture. Then I let the leaves air dry on a towel before storing in a sealed container in the fridge.
I am interested to know if others have a better method.
