I see the field horsetail, but there's no scouring rush that I could see. The field horsetail lives where it's wet.
Scouring rush likes the same thing, and I have that, and I mow it to keep it down. Doesn't kill it completely, but keeps it from spreading and thins it down drastically.
I use Grazon for thistles, and they seemed to be thick where the scouring rush was. When I sprayed the thistles, the scouring rush disappeared in that area.
