NS Canada
its a hunter tc3500. And I posted last week about the valve having a bad seal in it, so I got a whole new valve identical to the old one. Whether is was original I have no way of knowing, but appearance wise its drawn the same in the schematic as what I have installed and shows the same marking as what tire machine websites are selling, I got mine at acklands for half the price.

The mounting direction and spring seem suspect to me.

- The spring is held in place by the reducer/quick connect - 352, 325 in pic.
- If I put the spring on the big end it holds the seal closed (the way it was when I got it, nipple pointing forward)
- If I swap the nipple and the quick connect end for end like the schematic shows the spring is far too short and just bounces around in there
- I installed a longer spring I had and positioned the valve like schematic shows, and it holds air, but doesn't actuate dump valve, machine is usable, but without bead blast

the new valve was just the body and seal, no fittings or spring. So I swapped my old stuff over to the new body.
