Ravenna Ohio

buenymayor - 5/10/2021 05:00 Wright Pat is an amazing museum. We try to get up there every 2 years. No way to see it all in one day if you stop to really look at some of the displays. Nice that they've built a 4th hangar and you no longer have to sign up for the tour of the presidential and experimental planes. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth your time. Also... go up to Grimes Field in Urbana, Oh. Small museum there, and they are restoring a B17 to flight status. YOu can get up close to it and also talk to the folks working on it.

I liked going up to that old hanger. I remember when we could drive up. Dad worked there in his service days. They stress tested plane components. That nuclear plant on the hill was to test components for a nuke powered aircraft. By then Dad was a tech working in it.
