north central iowa | I noticed nobody else tried to answer your question. I have a 2017 250 Magnum with the hi-capacity hydraulics. The 280 should not have the o-ring issues. Mine is a power shift with suspended cab and front axel. I really like the tractor. I believe the cab suspension is spring/shock supported. The 59 gallon pump might be on the low end to handle what you need. I would call your local case IH store and talk to them about the planter requirements. | |
