Nice Comet Luke! I seem to recall you posting a photo of it a year or so ago. I'm not much of a Ford guy so I may not get this right, but It seems like mine had a 302 with 289 heads or the other way around, aluminum intake with 600 Holley, a lopey cam, headers and a top loader four speed. The rear end was screwed pretty high so it actually got pretty good mileage. It needed a posi real bad! For awhile I had a dual quad, cross-flow intake for it but never put it on the engine. I thought it was a Wieand but googling an image only came up with a Mickey Thompsen or an Edelbrock. Anyway it looked like this. The photo of my car was from my neighbor, who I sold it to.
