SE IL | How much replanting do you normally have to do? While it is common to just add some more in, often times we feel its better to tear them out and redo. Replanting “here” is almost never a thin even stand. Its bare spots and 30k pop then full 140k beside it. Very difficult to decide where to start and stop. So thar 140k stand with another 150k added is 290k, and yes will very likely hurt yield. If theres a chance with good forcast to redo it in May or 1st week of June I would tear it up and start over. | |
