I bought a forklift in 2000 and it still has the same battery in it. It's a sealed gel battery and the guy I bought it from put it in, so it's probably a year or two older than that. It runs on propane and lives in an unheated barn so it doesn't get used much in the winter and the battery is sometimes dead in the spring. I just charge it up and it works fine the rest of the year. I just sold the forklift a month ago so I won't know how long it'll actually last. | |
