The point of this demo is that in order to have any moisture move into a coarser soil, the more fine soil has to get above saturation point (zero oxygen and no root growth. The only way to do that without making the crop suffer is by pre watering before crop is planted. Tile helps remove only water that is above the saturation point. | |
