Subject: RE: Pros and cons of a John Deere 9630T

Very southern Mn
We have a 9530t approaching 4000 hrs, as said fan drive, we head to replace aluminum oil cooler at about 2500 hrs, we have had good luck with under carriage, still about 60-65% on original tracks, but we keep it aligned and try to stay off of tar roads. We also keep bogey wheels up to spec. I am guessing we will start spending some money on it as approach 4-4500 hrs. Also have a 9570rt, so far have spent more money on it with 700 hrs than 9530 with 3800 hrs. Hope issues behind us. Neighbor had a engine go out of his 9630t, he didn’t comment what cause was. Don’t want to jinx our 9530 but have always thought 9630 had a few more problems for simple reason they are trying to coax more power out of same tractor as 9530. Our 9530 has always had good power compared to the 9570 and a Challenger 865e, not as much but closer than I thought. Ours has made it thru head gasket issues so far. I think 9630 closer to a 9560 and most guys have had share of problems with those. I drive the 9530 in the springs and it is my favorite tractor to drive for me and I have drove a lot of them.
