I have a JD7100 9row fully 3 point 18" soybean planter and regularly no-till into cover crops and last years residue. My soil CEC is less than 10. I use no-till coulters and heavy duty springs set to a medium setting. I plant at 5MPH. Also, Yetter PolyTwist Closing wheels on 1 side. Works very good for me. Main concern is sky viewing when turning on the ends. Have 10 weights on front of tractor.
does anybody no-till with a mounted planter?
