| How about some media coverage about the sorts of things a lot of people in mainstream agriculture are doing that is good for the environment and more efficient. The unceasing spirit of invention that has made American farmers the most efficient in the world. Some hippie in San Francisco opens a produce stand and it makes national news but the fact that year by year production agriculture becomes both more productive and more energy efficient seems to not register in the debate. The mainstream population knows so little about the business of farming that they will always be playing catch up and talking about the status quo ten years ago. | |
